How do I book a place on one of your activities?
Please call / email to check availability on your chosen
activity. Once availability is confirmed
we will email / post all the
necessary forms and
information to you. Please read all the information in the pack, complete and sign the forms and post them to us with the appropriate payment - please bear in mind clearance times for cheques.
Credit card payment can be
arranged via Paypal, but
will incur a 3.4% levy.
Are the
activities demanding?
There will be opportunities to practice the skills taught at the end of each element. These skills do require a degree of physical fitness and as all
activities are run outdoors you will need to be prepared for potentially inclement weather.
Do I need prior experience?
Unless otherwise stated in the
activity information no prior experience is required. Most
activities are specifically designed as an introduction to the skills. Any exception to this will be clearly indicated in the
activity information.
Course cancellation and variation?
As our
activities are run outdoors we are subject to changing weather conditions and
activity content may need to be varied accordingly, but it is worth noting that inclement weather can be a great learning experience with regard to Bushcraft. However,
we may on rare occasion be forced to cancel the
activity in the case of severe weather. In this very rare circumstance you will be offered an alternate date for your
activity.
What do I need to bring with me?
There is
very little you need to
bring with you for our
activities, however we will provide
a suggested Kit List as a
guide. In general, we
would recommend wearing
layers, including a
waterproof outer layer, and
sturdy boots or wellies.
